I am sure you have heard that when Life hands you Lemons, Make lemonade with them. To expound on that thought, I wanted to give you an example. I had a situation where someone was inadvertently sponsored under someone else. It would be very easy to focus on the negative elements to the situation. That would be wallowing in the Lemons.

If you will go with me here for a moment, wallowing in lemons, What would that feel like. Squishy, stinging, very acidic. If you had any cuts or scrapes it would sting and burn like crazy. Well if we wallow in the negative of a situation the same type things will happen. It will hurt, it will not serve any good purpose. Instead, being proactive and positive would do the opposite.

OK, you have lemons in your lap. Step one...What are you supposed to learn from the lemons? Step two...make the best out of having the lemons...like making lemonade or better yet, lemon squares. You could market them, sell them and make money from them. You could do something very positive and take some lemons, lemonade or even lemon squares to a person in need. Isn't that what we were all taught and we tend to forget? One more thing to ponder...are you sitting under a lemon tree and are tired of getting hit on the head? MOVE. Change positions. Don't wallow.

#3 – Break Away & Clear Your Mind: It's a proven fact that the longer you stay in one place it's easier for fatigue and complacency to set in. When you plan your schedule the night before, make sure you schedule a few small breaks throughout the day where you can recharge your battery. Make sure that you take the breaks away from your desk and you might even want to do something to get the blood flowing rather than just laying down on the couch for a bit.
